In New Zealand and most states/territories of Australia, there are state/regional trainees' committees, which are subcommittees of the College Trainees’ Committee. These committees discuss local and national issues with relevant issues referred to the CTC for discussion/action. To contact the New Zealand Trainees' Committee, please email racp@racp.org.nz.
Trainees are the future of the RACP and the committee encourages all trainees to become involved in College activities.
The CTC can be contacted via email (traineescommittee@racp.edu.au) or through Radmila Jancic in the Education Deanery on (+61 2) 8247 6291.
More information about the CTC responsibilities, involvements and initiatives, is available from Trainees' Café.
Three times a year, the New Zealand Trainees' Committee publishes "Training Wheels", a newsletter designed especially for the needs and interests of New Zealand Basic & Advanced Trainees.
The newsletter contains information on courses, resources, events, exams, and general training news. Visit the "Training Wheels" archives here.
If you wish to discuss issues relating to your training program, initially, we recommend that you try and sort the issue out at the local hospital level. If this is not possible, see the below pages for more information.
