Ethics

The Ethics Expert Advisory Group is responsible for strengthening the capacity of the RACP to contribute to the management and monitoring of ethics and conflicts of interest in Australia and New Zealand. The "Guidelines for ethical relationships between physicians and industry" is the reference document used throughout the College and its training and education programs to manage and monitor ethics with appropriate organisations, agencies and committees internally within the RACP.

The Ethics Expert Advisory Group work with the Divisions, Faculties and Chapters, through the College Policy and Advocacy Committee (CPAC). The Expert Advisory Group also report to CPAC regarding progress and outcomes.


Key Documents and Submissions

The Royal College of Physicians London have recently released a report regarding the need for a UK medicines strategy to meet unmet clinical need for prescription drugs and to remove inequalities in medicines provision across Britain.
